2012 White Volkswagen Amarok 2.0 BiTDI 132kW 4Motion Highline Double Cab with matching Canopy. This Amarok has been our family's long-distance travel vehicle since October 2014 I bought the Amarok 2nd hand in Durban (32,000km on the clock). To date, have covered the remaining distance almost entirely on holiday trips — Plettenberg Bay, Cedarberg camping, farm stays near Lady Grey, and one trip up to Pomene in Mozambique. Current mileage: 246,000km. Since 2016 I've worked from home and used my BMW motorbike and Volvo cross country for city trips, so very little of this vehicle's mileage is short-trip city driving. Amarok has full service history (paperwork and an up-to-date service book) and has been well cared for. Serviced by Barons Tokai while under extended warranty, and then by MACE Motors (now Mischief Motorsport). Just did the planned major service, along with some minor repairs.
